The Kentucky Crossroads Regional Economic Development Coalition (formerly Bluegrass South) is an alliance of economic development organizations in 11 Central Kentucky counties, including Anderson, Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Lincoln, Marion, Mercer, Pulaski, Rockcastle, Taylor, and Washington Counties.
Kentucky Crossroads is a region of vibrant, progressive communities in the Kentucky heartland strategically positioned between the Louisville and Lexington metro areas with business development assets and advantages that are easily accessible via four major highway corridors (KY 55, US 127, US 150, US 27) to the Martha Layne Collins/Bluegrass Parkway, the Louie B. Nunn/Cumberland Parkway, and Interstates 64, 65, and 75.
The partners of Kentucky Crossroads emphasize “collaborative regionalism” as their guiding principle to promote three objectives:
- Market cooperatively this region to site selection consultants and corporate decision-makers.
- Share openly information and best practices to improve the performance of local economic development organizations and their executives.
- Advocate aggressively for region-wide public policy issues and solutions that enhance the overall business climate for the participating counties.
We invite you to learn more about the award-winning Kentucky Crossroads regional initiative through this website, which also serves as a gateway to the economic development websites of the partner counties. You will soon discover why Kentucky Crossroads is where everything comes together for business and industry!
